We had a quick chat with Lisa van Ginkel about her 2nd place finish @ 2013 Dutch Nationals last weekend.
This is what she said:
"Last weekend the first stop of the Dutch Championships took place! The conditions were very heavy with strong wind and big waves! The singles went well, I got in third place at day 1. Day 2 the wind started out not so strong, but when I was up the wind got stronger. I competed with my Mr.Green 7,5 against 5m kites so it was pretty difficult. I managed to win from the nr.2 so I got into the finals! I lost the final heat and ended up 2nd place! I did not expect that at all, because I haven't trained a lot last year because of college so I am very happy. Now it's time to focus on the next stops and hope for the best!"
We keep our fingers crossed for Lisa and will report on her performance during remaining Dutch National Championship events.
